Afternoon Tea

Don't call it a snack or even a nibble, are you ready to discover Afternoon Tea?

What if we called it 'afternoon tea' instead?

Yes, exactly that:

the quintessential English custom.

Immediately, charming ladies in extravagant dresses sipping tea from beautifully decorated porcelain cups will come to mind. But Afternoon Tea is much more. Sweet pastries, the inevitable scones, tantalising finger sandwiches, steaming cups of tea, and delightful blends.

Every day from 3 to 6 pm, reservations are required on weekends.

Mind the Map

A few simple rules to enjoy an Afternoon Tea like a true Brit:

  • start from the bottom of the stand, which is the sandwiches
  • prepare the scones by spreading first the cream and then the jam
  • eat everything strictly with your hands, without a fork, knife, which are only used for spreading cream and jam, or a teaspoon in the cup pour the milk first and then the tea and stir with the teaspoon making an up and down movement, not circular
